    I am doing some research on a 550 at Prestige Imports in Randallstown, MD (outside of Baltimore). Does anyone know of a place nearby that does PPIs? I have seen Ferrari of Washington mentioned quite a bit, however, I was checking to see if there was a place closer? Thanks in advance for the help.

    I have used FOW for PPI twice and both times they missed stuff that should have easily been picked up. I will never use them for a PPI again. Simply throwing your money away on a false sense of security. Jon in Delaware

    I would also recommend competizione. Richard and Fernando are excellent and honest. I purchased a car from Prestige Imports and I am happy but get the inspection before you finalize the deal

    I'm here, and I have to admit I got a chuckle out of your post. What can I say that I haven't already said? I like FoW, I've made no secret about considering lots of the FoW guys and gals to be friends, and I do some sort of business with them pretty much constantly. Was on the phone yesterday with Brian about Classiche (which I think you can safely mention here, but not in vintage or supercars sections, where anyone who mentions the word is viewed as a nouveau riche sucker). Looking at a 612 at FoW next week.

    I take great consolation in knowing that I and my massively powerful Fiat 500L would crush you and your windup toy Luigi.

    You are not alone there. I believe one of our Saturday coffee guys has a similar experience with a couple of recent purchases, and Pre Purchase Inspections from FoW.

    But I'm sure if you list all the dealers, there are gonna be one or two unhappy stories, right?
