I know their reputation, but I am looking for a driver 308, 328, perhaps a single mirror Testarossa.

They have a beater / driver 86 328, similar to my 87 328 that was totaled a few years ago through no fault of my own.

Need to know if there is a shop nearby, or someone qualified who can look at the car.

I just want to know if it has oil pressure, and that the head-gaskets are not wet as I have witnessed 328's with wet / seeping head-gaskets that still run well.

I am looking for euro cars as we have no inspections ect here in south GA, but a beater black 328 like this one would be fun.

Please post or PM any helpful advice or contacts.

    Thank you.

Is the car in Astoria or out on Long Island. I thought they had most of their cars out on the Island somewhere, not in the city. But I could be wrong.

I don't know of anyone in the Astoria area, but you might try talking to Steve Arena at Arena Motors in Newark, NJ. Steve might be able to go over and look at it for you, or know someone who could do an inspection. The real question is whether Gullwing will let someone from outside do more than just look at the car.

You are definitely on the right track having someone look at the car for you. Astoria is 5 minutes from LaGuardia Airport, if that. Pick up a cheap Delta flight from Atlanta to LaGuardia and take a taxi to Astoria and check the car out yourself. Just a thought.
