Lots of good people around here. Can you be more specific about where in the area?

There are a lot of bay areas. I lived in the SF Bay Area for a long time but oddly enough some people take exception to those that think it is the only one.

I know, I know but it really does matter.

I'd try searching in NorCal region specific area using search tools. A lot of the good indie's come up and you can find one clost to you or the 360. Good luck!

    Hi John,

In retrospect, I hope I didn't derail your thread by ribbing Brian. It's all in fun- but that doesn't help someone who's new and is simply trying to find some help.

The best shop in the area (and probably one of the best in the world) is Patrick Ottis & Company in Berkeley.
That said, their focus is on vintage Fcars.
Perhaps if you don't find any help in the NorCal subforum, someone at Ottis can recommend a shop or tech for you.

Best of luck and welcome to Fchat,
    Dave
