Hey guys, Who's the best, most thorough person to turn to for a PPI on a Scud in the Dallas / Plano area? Cheers, Marc
Although I can not comment based on experience, I have heard only positive things about Norwood Performance. I'm pretty sure he does PPIs and I've heard a lot of good things about them. Mike Luongo (Lamborghini Dallas mechanic) also comes to mind. I've heard a lot of good stuff about him too. I've talked to him at car shows and he's a nice guy that's passionate about Italian sports cars. As mentioned, I don't have exerience in this area at all. These are names that I've heard a lot about. RAC Performance and Boardwalk Ferrari might also be able to do a PPI.
If you would like, we'd be more than happy to help. When are you wanting to get it completed? I'm headed to the airport right now in SFO, heading back to DFW, but I am sure we could get you in as soon as tomorrow or Saturday. LMK if we can help, S
A Scud is right there at the borderline between going to Norwoods or Boardwalk. James could do a great job, but I think Boardwalk still sees more 430's these days. Now if you have a 328 or Testarossa I don't think Boardwalk has seen one in over a decade?
Sure they have, they go to car shows! I actually saw a red 328 in their shop last month when I was there.
I'll recommend James Patterson/Norwood without hesitation...I've been a customer for eight years and have seen Ferraris of all eras in his shop. They've been great to me through two Ferraris, albeit older ones. For a very late model car, Boardwalk might well be worth a look.
LoL, you keep saying that, but the truth is 50% of the cars in the shop right now consist of 3X8's , 348's, 355's, 360's.... and yes, even a Testarossa for an engine out major and seat belt update in the last 60 days. But agreed, Norwood is where I would send one of our cars for a PPI and not think twice about getting and honest / fair assessment with zero bias! S
