Not sure how far south you are but Bryan Vignale of Independent Motorworks has gone quite a distance to do a PPI for customers. He is in Short Hills/Millburn and his advertisement can be found in Forza every month. He worked on my carbed 308GTB and my 348.
I'm no mechanic, but I work on My own 308 and 360 and I'm in South Jersey, I can look at it and give You My 2 cents, for what it's worth.
