My husband is the original owner of a 1985 308 QV. We are thinking about adding a 348. When we find one we want a PPI. I understand that sometimes a test drive isn't done but a PPI should be. My question is: Who arranges and transports the car to the location of the PPI? Thanks and be kind to a forum newbie.

Generally the prospective buyer takes care of those aspects. The ideal is to have the car taken to the buyer's shop of choice for the PPI, although sometimes the seller prefers to keep the car onsite and have the inspector come to the car. The latter complicates things for the inspector since availability and access to test equipment may be more difficult, depending on the level of cooperation of the seller.

I have to add more cars to my profile but I can't remember their years. He has another vette and a Chevy Impala.

+1 this is how it works. You will find that the 348 is a GREAT car, one of the hidden jewels of ferrari's so to speak. You won't regret getting one...
