I'm plunkin' down some cash on a QV...problem is I'm up in the Bay Area and can't inspect it right now. Wondered if anyone can recommend a competent F-mech in the SD area for me or if any of you guys can do a quick visual for me before I head down to finalize things?

    Thanks, nate

I suggest taking it to Gaby Bobileff. He'll do a PPI and give you a written report. In fact, if it is a San Diego car, chances are pretty good that he has worked on the car at one time or another, you should check with him.

If you need someone to take a look at it, let me know, but I suggest you have Gary take a look at it, he'll give you the straight scoop. I also suggest you see it yourself, no reason not to and no one else will have your perspective; some people are too picky, others not enough. From No Cal you can hop on a Southwest flight in the morning, be back home in the afternoon.
