    hello - i live in the northeast, but i am looking at buying a car near houston - any recommendations for someone for a pre-purchase inspection of a testarossa? I have gotten nice pictures and video of the car through its recent restoration but i have never bought a car at such a distance before

    This is great info thank you for posting it @Shark01 been looking for a good indy to take alook at my 430 for some time.

    @jk2101 I've seen the Testa you are super clean example. While not an expert on Testarossa's I am local and willing to help if possible.

    i spoke to Mark at Sphere and H&S motor - they are both nice, but they both do the inspection at their facility - and it will not be easy for me to get this car to them in Houston. Anyone know a knowledgeable person who would be willing to travel to Splendora to give me an opinion on this Testarossa? Justin

    Mark has done remote inspections....he did one for me a few years ago and I know he has done others. The biggest issue is you will need to secure a lift on your own. Otherwise, can you do a facetime PPI with Mark in his shop? Is that a great solution? No, but it might be the best you can do.

    Mark told me the car has to come to his shop, that he would not travel to see it.
    The car currently is in a garage with a lift.

    Id be happy just with someone seeing the car in person to see it start and run, and give some feedback on the paint. I’ve seen great video and pics in the mechanicals.

    We will be driving home from Nacogdoches tomorrow mid day and might be able to stop by to put eyes on it for you. I'd have to talk my wife into taking the extra time, but if it's not too far off the beaten path it should be fine.
