Lately I've been taking Luca for more trips in the 348. With a new Recarro car seat and this damn cool device: http://www.skjp.com/products/index.php?v=detail&name=MightyTite4344&cid=34&id=6 it's easy to keep him strapped in securely for the trip.

Unfortunately, that also includes sand-covers shoes, sticky lollipops, and juice cups that leak. So, when David (lusso64) and I were launching our new Lloyd Mats floor mats product line, I decided to order some Lloyd "Rubbertite" mats for my 348.

They fit great, although they smelled of strong rubber for about a week (now they are absolutely fine) and seem to be as tough as nails. It's not quite the Stradale look, and they're not exactly plush and comfortable... but they do a GREAT job keeping the floor clean. Take them out, hose 'em off, shake-shake-shake, and put them back it. Before you say "those suck" or "that looks like a NYC taxi", consider practical reason for them.

If I list these on the Ricambi site, would anybody be interested? They are $45 for the pair, and available in black, tan/brown, grey, and clear (odd looking, I think).

    The Rubbetite look nice.
Being I child of the 60s/70s, I opted for a set rubber backed Coco Mats which have always looked great to me. They will custom make them exactly to any size if you send them a pattern, have a thick rubber backing and are available in multiple classic colors and styles.

May I suggest a set of Wilton wool carpet overlays? They've done well for me, I can tell you.

That looks like an NYC taxi, albeit a good-looking one.
