Hi everyone, does anyone have the prancing horse true colour palette / values (green, white, red, yellow, black)? I have done some basic Google search without result ... Thanks!

    Great question.

    How about PMS colors?

Many brands have a design language guide that specifies Pantone colors. Like the orange for Home Depot, or the blue for Cobalt tools, and so on.

    Thanks!

Was that a Photoshop eye dropper on an existing logo?

    Where’d you get those values?

I pulled the exact (not eyedropper/bitmap sampled) cmyk swatch values from the official Ferrari vector logo.

Thanks! I checked the colours online and there seems to be some differences with painted logos on cars such as the 599 Alonso. It may well be my computer to be fair. Do you know if Ferrari would vary the colours of the shield depending on format, eg stickers, metal shield, painted logo on fender, ... or if they would always use the same values? also can you post the logo you used a reference? Again thank you for the effort!

Paint or enamel are specific colors and not four color process, so no CMYK build.

The format will absolutely affect colors; badges, paint etc would be single-color, such as PMS or a particular close match of paint. In those cases, you choose the closest color possible, or create a custom pigment (such as CocaCola red.)

As to sharing the vector file itself, I'll have to decline (sorry). Rob takes a dim view of 3rd party branded items, and sharing the file would aid those efforts. (I'm not implying this is your goal. Just speaking generally). The logo is also trademarked IP, so I don't want an angry letter from FNA either. ;)

No worries, I actually have the project to get the shields painted on my car and wanted to get the closest match possible to what Ferrari would do factory. I suppose I could get pics from the internet and try to match colours as best as possible ... thanks for your response!

They'd use whatever yellow was in the nearest bucket
