I had my Cavallinos re-chromed by these guys:

    Wheel Concepts - Alan Georgetti - 805-376-2113

Here's how my rear emblem looked when done. About $60 each.

Great shot of the prancing horse, Michael. Mind if I use that for my personal use (no sales or exhibition or printing or anything like that, just maybe if I use it as my "Avatar" or send to a friend or something). Just thought it would be polite to ask first.
    Thanks!

I buffed mine out fairly well with a metal polish that comes in a metal can, is fibrous, you tear off pieces. I'm at work and can't recall the name....

I had mine rechromed some years back - I subsequently found that it is cheaper to buy new badges...

Most of the UK suppliers have these badges listed.

I still like the first one. The lighting looks like a spotlight from the gods or something.

Tarn-X at your local hardware store or Walmart. Put a dab on a rag corner and rub it on carefully. Might be the cheapest solution - $5.

Sometimes a good scrub with a soap pad like Brillo or SOS will bring chrome parts back around to looking good again.
