    Just came across this article on autoblog. The design of this prototype looks beautiful & fascinating. Its almost has a McLaren F1/Saleen S7 silhouette to it... it's a shame about GM not being able to move forward with this project, however the article points out that (besides the economy) certain regulation changes were made for the 2010/11 LMP1 class that also prevented its development... anyone have any insights to this?

    Reminds me a bit of the Corvette GTP car that ran in IMSA back in the 80s. Hopefully conditions will change and it will eventually see the light of day.

    This would have been incredible. I do not know much about the proposed LMP-1 rules, but it would seem this would have also given Ferrari incentive.

    With the condition of GM you might as well kiss this one good bye, it will never see the light day!! Would of been nice to see it happen.
