Pre-Purchase Info

Is the PPI (is that correct?) and computer printout a standard thing to get when considering a Lambo? Do dealers readily do them? What is the price range for both and who reads the computer printout? Thanks for your help.

The computer printout is only available for the more recent vehicles. I am not sure about the 98 cars ? The readout is available at least for the 99 and up vehicles. There should be no charge for the printout. I am sure you have to ask them for the printout. It is useful information. It is not much effort to obtain the report. Ask them to explain in detail the report.



The service manager should go over the details with you.

 

If I found a Diablo, it would be a 2001 6.0, so am sure a computer readout would be available. If I go Murcie, it will be a 2005 and imagine I wouldn't need one for a new car.

98 does have a computer readout.

PPI they inspect to see if there are any problems with the car beofer buying it. My readout showed my car was running hot do we factored in a price for a new water pump when buying the car (it came out of my pocket at the end) They see if there are any leaking shocks, body damage, brakes, clutch etc..

BUT.. they cant get everything. Only whats visable to the eye. When my engine had to come out they saw more things that coulnt be seen on the ppi. Thank god it was nothing major
