    Hi all !
    First post, so be gentle.

New member, living close to Zurich, Switzerland. Originally from Denmark, but have lived a large part of my life in UK.

I am currently researching my next car purchase - the Sunday fun car. Top of the list currently is the 348. Could stretch to a 355, but current thinking is to get a good 348 and some money in the bank for eventualities.

Plan is to do my home work over the winter, and then purchase in spring, once we move into our new house (with ample parking).

I was wondering if any of you guys know of any one around these parts who can do a thorough pre-purchase inspection once I have found the car?

    Thanks a lot.
    J

The only people I've had dealings with near Zürich are Foitek and was very happy with them. However that was back when the family still ran the business. Haven't had any real contact with them since they moved to Altdorf.

Garage Frey in Luzern are also not too far away, but again I haven't had and dealings with them for a while.

    Not much help I'm afraid.

You might want to contact Bruno Staub from Sport Auto Staub in Gisikon near Lucerne. My dealings with him so far were very positive, he's a real enthusiast (former winner of Ferrari Challenge). Looks like they have a nice 348 GTB for sale too.
And as mentioned before the Foitek family, now located in Altendorf SZ, can also be recommended.

    Cheers

Thanks a lot guys. Looks like there are at least a couple of options locally - always good in case I buy a car from one of them.
