    Hey everyone…

    I’m looking at purchasing a 550 from a private seller here in Los Angeles. The car has been serviced for most of its life by Ferrari of Beverly Hills.

    Is it customary to go back to the dealer where the car has been serviced for a pre-purchase inspection or should I find an independent shop to look over the car?

    Use someone other than the seller. So FoBH could be OK but I have heard they are not the best (hearsay).

    Ask for references in the LA sub forum.
