I believe its same products as from Project cars. They are also from Hong Kong. Some refferences on Project cars are here on forum (positive but also negative). I bought from them carbon mirrors and i am satisfied with price, quality and also with service (fast shipping....). www.myprojectcars.com
Thanks Petr , my secretary call me yesterday and told me that i receive one package i will scheck tomorrow the tubistyle you send it to me . Thanks for al Petr Ricardo
Before I bought the CS mirrors I had the GT spec carbon mirrors from myprojectcars and they where very good quality - shipping was quick and the product really was very well finished (and light!). I would recommend them!
Speaking of body kits, I saw there 360GT body kit they sell, and it made me wonder.. Has anyone ever bought or seen a GTC 360 Spoiler upclose? Looks pretty trick on 360s.
I bought a CF rear diffuser from MyProjectCars and it was very poor quality. It took me quite a while to get a refund. Have a look at the thread here.
Prosport in the UK sell excellent quality rear diffusers, I've seen them - perfect. Might be worth checking them out. Sorry to hear about your diffusers issue - perhaps they didn't fit because they where for the Strad bumper? Really the mirrors where excellent quality, perfect in fact, virtually indistinguishable in terms of quality from the CS ones I now have fitted.
I bought carbon fiber mirrors from Prestige. I thought they were cheap junk. Limited field of view and very wobbly. Not near the high quality of MA carbon or Gruppe M.
I'm quiet sure that MA CARBON it's really hight quality but the prices it's also probably the double , reason for whyi want to have few information about this company , just for me to know if i can order Stradale Mirrors ( 400 only shiping included ) Ricardo
We had some of those mirrors in house to check them out. As m3mike indicated, they are a bit wobly. The field of view is due to the small size and flat glass. Not much you can do about the size - its copied from a race car after all. But the mirror mechanism was very crude. For fun, we put some carbon on it and it looked a lot nicer than their normal offering. But then all we had was a nice looking but primitive mirror. Anyone want a set? They are still sitting around the shop The actual supply side for those mirrors is a bit more complex - but I can say Prestige does not make them. On another note....they also stole our photos! The installed 997 mirrors on their site (as of March 5, 08) are our mirrors! With their watermark! You can even see me in the reflection on the mirror taking the photo. I can say the weave is pretty nice on that set and that level of clarity and reflectiveness is part of the premium price. Compare the hand held 360 mirror to the Prestige photo. I think you can see a difference. At a minimum the carbon type is wrong. If anyone does want a 'pretty' set of those mirrors feel free to PM me. Good information, I'd just like to add that I feel it is strange people think their view was restricted because I went from these exact mirrors to factory 360CS mirrors and found the CS ones where much more restrictive (from the rear vision perspective) than these RevoZport mirrors. My mirrors also didn't wobble (must have been lucky!). Your re-carboned over'd mirror actually looks a lot better than the factory strad mirrors! Great job...
Here's the contact details I had for them; -- 10C World Trust Tower 50 Stanley Street Central, Hong Kong. Tel: +852-3172898 Fax: +852-31708433 MSN: [email protected] www.revozport.com [email protected] - and here's my original email proof that they make the prestige mirrors from '[email protected]' -- Dear 360trev, Thank you very much for your interest in our products. I think if anyone is genuinely interested in these GT racing mirrors they should snap John's hand off for those mirrors he re-covered. Quality re-finished. Just remember though this design was for GT-Racing - ultra light but no electrics, they are manual mirrors only just like on the GT cars for weight saving.
You cannot fit electric mirror motors into the GT-Racing spec mirrors. Lets face it, how often do you adjust them once they are set? Electric mirrors are a complete waste of time really... If you want electrics you need to buy the Challenge Stradale mirrors.
360Trev is right. They were done by Revozport. Ricardo, the only real difference is the look. The weight saved is probably only a few pounds. I've seen the photos of them installed on both 360Trev's car and m3mike's (in other threads) and they are copied from the Michelloto race mirrors. The shape looks great on the cars. But the current carbon work is not quite up to Ferrari standards (Sorry Ken if you read this). The best bet is to get them in body color. Or get one of the sets we have. I'll take some photos today and post them. We had contemplated using the Revos as cores and doing a series but in the end decided against it. So we've had a few sitting around. As for the factory CS mirrors, the carbon is pre-preg so its a hard comparison. We have repaired one set of mirrors and took full molds of them at that time. If we could just get enough time to put them into production! If you ever do damage your CS mirrors, let us know and we can repair them for you.
