@ Bugattiart This very nice car would be worth a new painting: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I used to get a lot of attention in this one, but that was so many years ago.........good times......... A H Image Unavailable, Please Login
You are right. Even I thought it was a vintage car, but it`s a new one. Though it`s not a kit car: http://www.devauxcars.com/index.html Nevertheless I like it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
+3 Anyone would look like a dork driving it. A Cali Spyder makes anyone look like a chronically hip god. And all for the spare change under the sofa cushion. (if you don't clean often)
That De Vaux car starts at $130,000. I like the ambition, but they lost the enthusiasm when they got to the interior. The doors look cheap.
Looks like a a really bad modern version of a cross between a Bugatti Atlantic and one of the LeMans Talbot T26 coupes to me... link to Talbot Le Mans coupe photo: http://www.ritzsite.net/Loo1999/Talbot_Lago_T26_GS_Le_Mans_Contamin_1948.jpg If someone wanted a "replicar", there is the Bucciali replica that Bart de Vries built circa 1984, which I think is stunning.. http://www.bartvrijevormgeving.nl/bucciali/foto03.html
There is at least one company in Italy willing to build replicars of it! I believe 2 have actually been made so far...
The DB9 is up there on my list. The prettiest car I have ever seen out on the road was a Black 355 Coupe. God thats a good looking car.
The Devaux car has all the righ cues but comes off unbalanced. Front finders so over power the rear fenders. The door is cut to give way to the already undersized front of the rear quater. Huge car with tiny doors and high sill climb-over. Hats off to the Chap for putting a unique car on the road! Love it or hate it it's different!
im a vintage/classic car guy so id say Ferrari 275 GTB/4 Lamborghini Miura Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing Aston Martin DB5
