As I was backing out of the stable today to get myself a Mountain Dew at the local market, when there it was, a small little drip of blue fluid..rrrrrr ! I don't have a lift anymore to get the car up in the air to source the location, but it appears to be coming from the right side of the engine "area" however, it could be migrating from another point. I do know it only shows up after I have driven the car. I have attached a picture for your viewing pleasure. Any thoughts?

Some use BMW coolant which is blue. Some have old ATE super blue in their brake reservoirs. That fluid is currently illegal in the USA but still OK out of the states. Go look and see what is in your brake reservoir and what is in your coolant overflow tank.

Does it have a oil smell or a sweet smell

Antifreeze if sweet ..if oily maybe blue brake fluid or they used a green / blue hydraulic fluid in f1 system like chf202s

I checked the coolant res and determined it is coolant. Engine temp is normal. Thoughts on repair?

Ted, could just be a loose hose clamp but without taking the undertray off you will not be able to see much. The problem with fluid leaks is that they can migrate across another surface disguising their true source. Good luck and hope it is just that, a loose clamp.

Thanks all. Now I must find a lift so I can get it up in the air and check the clamp and see if it is just that or a water pump....rrrrr!. Thanks again

If you had a recent large or rapid overnight temperature swing, it may simply be a clamp needs tightened. Silicone hoses seem more succeptible to tempersture swings causing leaks too. Especially if they have not been adjusted after the first year of service, in my experience.

if its oil, it could be shockproof gear oil from redline
if its water-like , it maybe coolant.
its definately not f1 oil or brake fliud, nor it is power steering fluid. No, not engine oil.

If it's coolant, it could be coming from the coolant pressure cap. See if the spot is directly below where the hose from the cap exits the rear undertray. It may be as simple as replacing the coolant cap.

Ferrari's "silicone" hoses are crap, and on top of that, expensive. I have replaced several of mine with reinforced silicone racing hoses. Better quality, at a fraction of the price.
