I just saw a very pretty '74 yellow/tan GTS flairs and chairs in Fort Lauderdale at a small dealership named I think "Motor Classics" on N.Federal Hwy near Las Olas. The paint and interior looked great, asking was $180K and there was a 'hold' sign on the window...does anyone know anything about this car????

It does look like a nice restoration, though it might have that funky aftermarket mouse fur on the dash.

i wonder why the "ask" on the black chairs and flares was $15k more. it sold, so i would have thought that this one would have just as strong as an ask price.

what cosmetic problems, if any, did it appear to have?

With some people black seems to command a premium. With me, just the opposite is the case.

writing this from lauderdale airport....jack i have a second house here....i saw the car late at night when the dealer was closed - but from a few feet away i would say the paint was a 9.5/10 - though not sure about the shade of yellow it differed quite a bit to mine though i know there are many 'original' color interpretations...the interior looked brand new as well
