The 20th Annual Performance Racing Industry Show is now done. I made stops at Magnetti Marelli, Bosch, BBS and many more with hope to find some useful solutions for problems in the 300 series and Mondial Community.

I should be able to provide insight into Electrical, Fuel Injection hose problems and wheel repalcement if the reps i have spoken with are as good as their word.

BBS is reading the chat now to monitor just how much interest and desire to replace the Metric wheels that are now providing the next coker generation with college tuition. If the market is strong they said they may be able to adapt some tooloing and make a good substitute for the Starfish.

K & N was not pleased to learn that their 3001 Oil filter should have a stand pipe but quickly realize the benefit of having it. They will probably move quickly to modify it to remove potential liability.

Bosch Classic is now able to repair or rebulid just about everything in the CIS system to as good as new. The fuel lines were spec'ed out by Ferrari and not a Bosch part. I am working on obtaining bulk supplies of the exact hose to stop the ticking time bomb that is these 20-30 year old lines.

The word is definately do NOT place any replacemnet lines in hot water to ease fitment. Sure way to cause failure. Brown and Miller Racing solutions has a braided hose that will not flex or have wave problems during the injection sequence. Stronger and better technology but not show perfect.

M and M rep allowed as how he would speak to the cappacino clutch that meets about everyday across the street from the gate at Maranello and see about the digiplex and Belts. He said they sit and grouse about how the new regime is screwing up Enzo's Legacy.

I hold out hope we will see.

More as it trickles down to Florida

    Cheers
    Robert

If you can make it PRI is the best 3 days you can spend around the new tech and services. 1,000,000 sq feet 4000 boothes and 1400 exhibitors. F1, Nascar, Childress, Rousch, Ford, Cosworth, 50 CNC lathes cutting away on cylinder heads and everthing else you can imagine.

It might be a good idea to cross-post to 3X8, there has been a lot of debate about the fuel lines. I would certainly like to know what the original diameters are and where to get replacements.

    Happy motoring,

Great news and thanks for posting!

I'm afraid the 308GTB owners such as myself do face unique problems, as not many cars outlast their original vendors! LOL!

I use BBS rims aftermarket, that's encouraging news. Please distinguish to them there are two configurations over the years, five identical rims with spare and the later front/rear width set up...

    Good work, Man!

I'm already working with JagJet on the CIS lines, he took my list of CIS questions to PRI with him. We will keep the CIS thread updated with results when we get them.
