Local dealer has a 6K mile '06 430 spider six speed stick, silverstone over bordeaux/black, w/power daytona's and a few other choice options. Standard steel brakes. Nice condition. What's a good price? What would you guess wholesale is? Have a feeling they want to move it quick. Thanks.

Bobby, what are they asking, and we can tell you what you might be able to get it for roughly...

The dealer's price will be about 10-15 % higher than elsewhere. I would estimate between 150-160 with limited info available.

Asking $142K. Seems they are motivated.

$142 seems fair, but you may have more room. There are about 12, 2006 430's in the $140's on cars.com

Asking prices these days seem astronomical. One way I try to get close to a fair asking price (outside of Manheim + X%) is to take the bottom 15% of cars (ordered by asking price) on Cars.com with at least a 30 car sample size. For me, this tends to represent a fair asking price with another 2-5% negotiation room. So that's how I conclude $142 is fair, and that you have a little more room.

Of course this does not always work (and one must adjust for mileage, and other factors) -- but it's a helpful heuristic for ballparking.

$136k is what you could get it for, IMHO

That appears to be a great price from a dealer.

I remember when speaking with Boardwalk here in Dallas, $292k was the price for a well appointed 430 spyder with a few miles.

    Best, David
