spoke with my buddy. cannot confirm the vin. so take the information as you wish. although, he recognized the yellow TT in the background is the same buyers.

if it is the same car, this is the history (story) as i know it:

car was for sale by a "area 51" motorsports. loaned to elton john in the hopes he would purchase the car. one of his crew slid it into a suburban. deal was struck to purchase the car "as is" so the carfax should be clean.

car had damage to the front bumper, drivers side fender, hood and the front box. car had no services records. was fixed properly.

 

the color was serra blue and the cream interior. as the pics show. mileage was around 18k ish at the time and this about 2-4 yrs ago.

 

The owner claims to own it for 6 years. Two owner car.

in a unibody car - it's the front section. fenders, hood, front suspension etc all mount up to it. i'd check it from the front underneath. look behind the bumper. he had his best guy fix it and he does awesome work so i don't know if anything would be a tell tale sign.

how many serra blue 95 355tbs could there be, let alone in atl.

 

i think there is a 97 with challange grill. That was also involved in an accident.

 

Seller says he spent 3000 on the belt service at ferrari of atlanta. Doesnt make sense.

The price looks really good.... Usually that is a red flag, but who knows.

Interior is definitely Crema (same as my TR).

The speaker in the middle makes me want to cry.

It does look in good shape though & if the car was in an accident & properly repaired, that wouldn't worry me much.

Ok i couldnt resist. Went there to check out his car. The 30K is NEEDED. Last service was done march 2004 with 20700 miles and the car has 20900 miles now. So only 200 miles in two years. The exterior has a few rock chips on the nose and front bonnet. One very small ding behind the driver door. Overall great condition outise. Inside is also the same. No shrinkage in leather. Overall a nice car. The system he says is detachable without hurting the leather. Im not sure about that. Definetly would do a PPI something is a lil fishy. To me not such a good deal because not much records and needs a 30K that will put the walkout price around high 60's. Im out

You and I think very much alike. I know some will disagree, but the question of who would put something bling like that in would put me off. I picture some 20 year old doing donuts in the car wearing gold chains...


For a '95 coupe that needs at a minimum engine out and 21K miles, and a stero system that bothers me very much (even put speakers in the doors- take a look), I'd say this price is right on. I happen to be a stock freak- like everything as close to stock as possible...

All that said, I happen to like several shades of blue on the 355, and this color combo looks quite nice....personally, I'll pass on this one.

It's a beautiful car, but why would you own and not drive it? To drive a car only to maintain mechanical integrity doesn't seem worth it. Ultimately someone will end up with the nicest 355 ever though

 

Sagaponack- I've seen your 355 for sale in hemmings, ebay, etc. I'd have to say your car is one of the top 10 355's I've ever seen- the color combo, piping on the seats (although I prefer a black steering wheel), condition, 1999, 6-speed, etc etc.... A beautiful car- good luck selling her!
