    no worries!

car is very well spec'ed and in basalt black (one of my favorite colors), so they probably don't need to dump the car; so I guess now the question is how badly do you want it... :)

I'm very tempted, I took it for a test drive and was blown away. Super fun and fast and had a beutiful exhaust note I believe it has some upgraded exhaust which is helping produce that note! Do you believe one can be used a DD if being split with a CS for 4-5k miles a year?

Cool well thanks for the input, I'm leaning towards letting the e46 go and trying a 911 for the first time. I would love to keep the e46 but I'm not blessed with the space for 3 cars.

You can drive a 997, or any 911 for that matter, as a DD, track car, whatever with no worries. I used a 993 as my DD for 60k+ miles and currently drive a 991s as my DD. I normally drive my DD car 20-22k miles per year on average. I currently have 7k+ miles in three months and it has been perfect
