Prince Rainier of Monaco has passed on, and we need to remember him. He was a good friend to Formula One, and hopefully the Grand Prix will continue to prosper under Prince Albert. The course may be ill-suited to today's F1 cars, but it would be hard to imagine a G.P. season without Monaco.
Prince Rainer was a great man and an distinguished leader. His memory lives on every time Prince Albert hands a trophy to the winner of the Monaco GP. Prince Albert is a keen supporter of Scuderia Ferrari and F1. The Monaco GP will continue for a long time to come.
I know it's sorta an old thread, but with the fame Monaco GP this weekend, and Prince Albert to take the throne in July, I am curious, will Monaco fall under this new leadership? Is Albert smart enough to do the great marketing and business ideas of his father? Will Monaco continue to become the playground for the rich and famous, and grow? The glitzy casinos, the restaurants, the high-end shops (though they lack Harry Winston, Armani, Bironi, and a couple of other big-brands-any rumors for these shops to come?) , the exotics, ect, will it continue on?
