I'd like to see the stats on who frequents this section. Dare I say it's dropped off over the years?

How about the mod list at the bottom of the section fixed up out of respect for those who are no longer with us?

I had a quick look and found four active members that are not subscribed, that would 'miss out'......so to speak.

These four people are active posters here, our friends and it would be a shame to see them miss out from our normal discussions.

Not including other members on the forum that are not subscribed, but drop in and add some value to this section.

Now, we CAN have our cake and eat it too friends.

Rob Lay can set this up and it was suggested we do this a while ago when some guys complained about not being able to put me on ignore.

It was discussed again just recently with Rob Lay and another member, who's emails were forwarded onto myself to read.

After having some time to think about it, I still don't believe it will be totally successful as we are too small a section to really benefit from it.

But in saying that, there could be good value in it in regards to the GG & Tassie runs that you all organise and discuss. The FCA Rallies etc.etc.

So I am happy to give it a go, with Rob's permission and help of course.

I just hope no one becomes "snobby" or behaves immaturely towards the non-subscribed members.

We can keep the Aussie section as is and have a private sub-forum to discuss anything else.

Just remember though, it only takes a non-subscribed member to subscribe to be able to access the new private section and this may backfire in some respect.

I will forward this thread and the idea to Rob Lay and we will go from there.

Any suggestions or ideas are most welcome.
