Just wanted to reach out to anyone here from Melbourne that knows of a private collection of cars ( ones I have never ever seen ) along with notable Ferraris, Alfa's , Lotus's ( Racing ) in a big multi level red brick building in Surrey Hills ?

 

Ha , No. Just asking if anyone knows about it ? Ive seen and i can tell you it would blow your mind to see what is in there.

Im talking Bradhams F1 , Lotus F1 ,old 1965 ? Model T , new Ferrari's **** even an Alfa convertible with Mechanical relay Fuel injection.

There are so many rare cars.

I was lead to believe if was owned by someone lets say they made 3 movies

When I got the tour I was lead to believe the collection wasnt KNOWN to put it mildly Belonged to someone you wouldn't want to deal with if you get my drift.

 

Yes very similar. And the Lotus's also looked the same. There were also many engines on the tables opened up. I was told it wasnt know that the car was there. Somehow it went from USA to here.

But there was also so many cars that i have never seen. Especially the 2 pristine , virtually new Model T .

But the Alfa convertible was a prize winner. Seeing a bank of over 50 relays for the fuel injection was amazing. Little did i know that alfa had fuel injection before Bosch

 

I should point out that over the levels there were over 200 cars in there. Dont know if they are still there because the guy who let me in no longer works in there . He was responsible to dust the cars 6 days a week and start many of them

 

I was building a SC Toyota engine across the road at Beninca motors for over a year. Every Saturday i would go there for about 9 hrs working and machining parts.

About 3.00 pm every Saturday this old guy would walk over and say hello to all the crew. After several months i asked who is he ? To that they always responded ask him. Well i did and he always said i cant tell you. Well a year passed and one day he asked if i wanted to see what he did . Hell yeh but told me to leave my phone at the shop.

When i went in it was like a big museum of cars. Boy what a collection. I stayed for hrs and we left. He showed me because it was his last day he was sacked

So you are saying the cars are all still there ?

 

Regardless wont see anything unless you have a key for the doors or a cherry picker to use to look into the windows.
