I was reading the NY Times review on the 458 and the car was being test at a private race track. THey also made it sound like it was a club that could be joined.

"Ferrari’s newborn beauty in repose at this private road course tucked below the Catskills.

Today, as club members romp at this challenging track, "

Any idea what club this is?

It's Monticello. Not quite 'tucked' below the Catskills, more like 'below' the Catskills.

yes you can join Monticello...in fact they have a new membership that costs $25k initiation and then it is 3k annual dues....I think it is called Track Mate or something to that effect...I was just there yesterday for a HPDE.

If you want to see some pictures of a track day the Ferrari Owner's Club did at MMC recently, go to this web site and click on "Monticello 6-19-10" : http://focner.com/gallery.htm

It's an incredible track! I highly recommend it. Bryan
