Does anyone not affiliated with this company have a review of these headlights.

    They make the followong claims.

    This kit features:

2 7"Round Diamond cut sealed beam conversion housings
2 H4 Xenon HID bulbs rated at 65/55 Watts, with an output of 90/100 Watts
2 rubber covers (to keep the housings dry)
Plug and play no rewiring is necessary

What is the downside if any?

Its a 14 year old post.

Dont bother with those. Get Truck Lites 7 inch LED lights.

Just watch out for the wattage the system can only handle so much,I changed mine to LEDs and I had a drop of amps from 5.4 (original) to 2.3 amp per side and was using the original lenses, it was a plug and play 10 min job.

FWIW, the Trucklite looks really good but at nearly 4oo bucks each  they are a bit beyond my "acceptable price range," for a pair of headlights even by Ferrari standards!

TBF, I will admit that if I did a good bit of night driving on B roads, I might have a different view but I don't do that...

Less than half that on Amazon. If they are that cheap on Amazon someone else is cheaper.

The drop in current draw makes sense with LEDs as they require a lot less power for equal or even more light. And that's a good thing: less stress on the wiring. Incandescents waste a ton of power in the form of heat in the bulb filament and through the wiring itself.

My concern with LEDs is the annoying flickering which some produce, most typically with low-budget lights, caused from low-frequency power supply cycling. For their price, I would hope Truck Lite and Morimoto Holley Retrobright headlight cycling is too fast to be perceived.
