Can you provide more info? Does the accelerator pedal not work at all? Is it binding in some way? You say this happens when you start the car in the morning -- does it work after the car warms up? Does the engine respond if you move the throttle position from within the engine compartment? (It's located in the center just aft of the intake plenum.)
