    Hey guys:

I was detailing a F360 today and after detailing the engine bay I tried to align the oil and power steering filler caps so that the "Ferrari" emblem would be parrellel to the rear bumper of the car. I could not get the caps to do this, both caps would just stop perpindicular to the rear bumper. The gas cap also would refuse to upright itself instead of being an upside down "Ferrari" emblem. Is this common on the 360, or was this just a fluke thing? It appeared that the caps would only start to grab in one particular position making adjustment of the caps near impossible. Any help or info is appreciated on the topic.

My 2004 360 is the same way. I started noticing others in photos. Most or off and those that are "on" may have been backed off for the photo.

The only way to do this is by "shimming" the sealing washer. You would have to place a shim under the rubber sealing washer & change the thickness of the shim until you had the correct position of the cap.

Easy to do would just takes a little time.

Thanks guys, that is what I figured. Amazing that Ferrari would not do this in production as it is a simple item that means a lot asthetically(sp). Thanks again for the information.
