Production Pics

My 488 was in production in late November and I didn't receive the production pictures either. I emailed Ferrari this morning and received a response that there is a technical issue at the factory and that as soon as it is rectified, that I would receive my photos. Meanwhile, I was just informed today that my car arrived at the port in New Jersey.

 

Update, I received an email with my production photos with an explanation that there is still a technical issue with regards to posting them onto the My Ferrari account; however, they did at least have the photos.

 

My 488 is on a boat. No photos provided from the build....

 

My 488GTB is at the dealer without any production pictures available. Stage 40 November 13 and USA Port 1/3/18 and dealer 1/10/18. Seems like a very quick port and delivery to Chicago.

 

Motorwerks, did you ask for your pics from the dealer or contact Ferrari directly? I would like to get my production pics as well. My dealer said none of their builds from Oct on received them with the same reason being a technical problem.

My dealer is looking into production pictures as well. I have not heard back from them yet.

 

Just hit the port in New Jersey. How long before most people received their cars after hitting the sea ports in the US?

 

So are production pics back up and running on my garage in my.ferrari?

I contacted Ferrari 2 days ago about mine and they said still a tech issue with IT but feel they do likely have the photos stored and will notify me when available

No they are not.
Mine is status 40 (info from my dealer yesterday) but still no pics and status @my.ferrari.com still "ordered"

No. They are still having problems. My photos were e-mailed to me from the factory last week; however, they mentioned that the problems are still ongoing.

 

2-5 days to clear customs then trucking to dealer then dealer prep. I’d be prepared for a Feb 1 drive date???

 

Usually about 2 weeks if you're on the east coast. Ferrari cars come into the Port Elizabeth in NJ.

 

Thanks for that info. My car arrived to my dealer on Thursday. So..placed order first week of 10/17...received built car on 1/18/18. Is this the fastest built to spec car out there LOL?

That is a very typical delivery time. Your order was placed after the August factory shutdown and also NO California T cars being built, which share the same assembly line as the 488.

Once the Portofino production numbers and orders pick up, you will see a delay in 488 deliveries due to capacity constraints. I visited the factory shortly after your order was accepted and saw the aforementioned with my own eyes. Nothing but 488 cars along the V8 production line and no Porotofino/Cali Ts at all.

 

Oh. I must have gotten lucky! Placed the order last week of Sept 2017 and vehicle is at the same dealer 15 weeks later.

 

my car was finished on Dec 18, delivered on Jan 19, still no pictures....
