    I was told my 458 went into production on Monday. Does anyone know how long until I see my car? Thanks

    Mine took approx 8 weeks from production to dealer's showroom. Congrats!

    Depending upon how complicated your spec is, I believe standard time frame is 90-120 days. Mine was Oct 2010 production start and late Jan 2011 delivery.

    My car was set for April production. Order went in in January. Car went stage 20 on April 2nd. My car is still in stage 20 and has been delayed 3 times. Most recent production date is May 17th. Ferrari will not say what the delay is.

    Once the order is accepted from Ferrari, is there a website where you can track status of your vehicle? thanks

    Your dealer can track it through MODIS.

    Not a chance. You are dependent on your relationship with your dealer for updates and they are dependent on the Modis system which is notoriously out of date:)

    I have heard that McClaren and Porsche have the system you are looking for:)

    dealer told me early June, but that sounds optimistic from what all of you are saying.

    My car took 10 weeks from the time the actual order was placed. It did sit an additional week at Ferrari once it arrived so 13 weeks to my garage.

    Your patience will be well rewarded!! Its an AMAZING car!!

    that does sound a little too optimistic, my dealer called last Monday and said my 458 is red90 and it was getting shipped,will be an early June delivery... Good luck with yours!

    My car left Italy April 6th and should be at my dealer next week.

    Mine showed up a month early that what the dealer said. I think part of it is when the boats leave and when (in my case) there was transport available to the West Coast.

    Mine began production 3rd week of March and should be here end of this month.. So about 10 weeks.

    Also to speed up delivery, you can have your 458 delivered via air transport instead of boat. Cost is about $10K

    Dealer told me instead of 8 weeks delivery time to CAlifornia, its about 1-2 weeks via air from factory to dealer. He told me most of time was customs/import of the 1-2 weeks.

    went to production sometime in january, delivered through customs and to the dealer last week of may

    My car went stage 85 today which means ready to ship from Italy. Hope to see it mid to late June. Fingers crossed as I just sold my 430 spider.

    customs took forever... our 458 sat in new jersey for 3 weeks almost before it cleared and then took 2 weeks to ship to destination.

    i think the car has to clear customs before the dealer can take an invoice on it

    hope you have a much shorter wait, but just sharing our experience.
