Hi all, This probably happens all the time but I just that redbull driver Max Verstappen was not eligible to drive on the streets! I know it is an age thing but to me its funny how he is able to drive a single seater that goes almost 370 KM per hour. I guess we are going to be seeing a lot of this as younger generations tend to be more mature at an earlier age making them suitable for F1 Racing. But when the race is over they will need a driver to take them home !! Here is where I found the article. http://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/verstappen-passes-driving-test-as-he-turns-18/?v=2&s=1
Minimum age for superlicense has already been raised to 18 so Verstappen will almost certainly be youngest ever F1 driver. He got his license today btw .
Today is Max Verstappen's birthday. He turned 18. His birthday wish came true. He went down to the local motor vehicle administration and upgraded his provisional driver's license to a regular driver's license. He said he was glad he can drive down the streets without someone else in the car. His first car is a Renault Clio RS.
Which F1 driver got busted for speeding and lost his licence? I have to be honest, except for driving outside of normal traffic hours, if I could take a magic carpet and just appear where I need to be, I would.
Hamilton had his license suspended a few years back:Lewis Hamilton caught speeding in France - Telegraph A more interesting story is Schumacher taking the wheels of a taxi on his way to the airport. He didn't lose his license but I think the cabdriver got in trouble!
I think its Montoya that my memory was only remembering the incident and not the who. Did not know about Hamilton.
Pretty sure too! Up until a few years ago it was quite easily possible to go fast in croissant land. Shame they became quite vigilant and strict. Beautiful roads.
