My headlight lenses were really bad, I included two before pics to show how bad they were, they bothered me more than anything else about my car. Provo Motori aka "Ferrari Steve" in San Antonio has a guy that takes care of sanding, polishing, clear coating and an additional "secret step" that allows for the clear coat to last longer that the traditional technique of re-coating the lenses. It took three days at Steve's shop and cost 120.00 per lens. I researched different ways of taking care of the problem, replacement was cost prohibitive, there is no way of just buying the lens covers without the entire bucket assembly. I also saw people on this board do it themselves, but I am not entirely confident that I wouldn't break something that would be big bucks. I am really happy with the results and would recommend others take there car to a professional to get this done.

    It turned out great.

Does this restoration include removal of lenses and reconditioning of the inside? In some 360 the fogging or fading is also occurring from the inside and restoring the outside part of the lens doesn't completely restore it.

    Thanks!

No, He just taped around the lens and draped the rest of the car, this was only done to the outside of the lens.

    Got it. Very nice.

I hope mine was only the outside. I placed a very light smoke tint on mine instead of paying a couple of grand just to have somebody refurbish the headlight lens inside out.

Very nice job, looks great. Have you thought about buying the ready pre-cut
PPG style protection for the lenses ?

I saw some a while back for around $65 for both. Seems like cheap insurance
for future fading and chips. I know that the best headlight restorers, like this one
replace the UV coating on them originally, but everything extra helps.....

I used those on my 02 360. goes on easy enough. They are thick enough to provide good protection. Just follow the install instructions...

HUGE improvement! Love the blue Ferrari.

were they also able to clean the inside?

Mine appear to look like a windshield that has not been cleaned in years due to the paint, plastic, and glues outgassing and depositing on the inside of the clear cover and have a fogged appearance that I think could be eliminated if I could clean the inside.

Did you have to remove the bumper to get them out?

My headlights still look perfect, they did not remove the bumper and only polished the exterior of the units. Funny, I have the front bumper off right now to reglass the bottom. Too much jumping railroad tracks. :)

Steve is a great guy. We've done several refinishing jobs for him.

I think this is a very fair price. When I did my 355 fog lens, it was very time consuming and the material were not cheap.

I see Lamin-x also makes a custom cut F430 clear kit for the front end

Anyone tried this out? If so, any tips/suggestions?

Called bradan up today said they are not taking any new Ferrari customers and to call back in the fall.!
Thought that was a lil short and odd. I didn’t think the headlights were a biig job . Guy could of at least gave me a price . Jeez guess they are too busy.

Good problem to have. Kudos to him I say for not wanting to compromise the level of service he can offer by taking on too much.
