Sorry for the somewhat fuzzy phone pics. Online album detailing engine out timing chain and tensione rreplacment, oil pump chain and tensioner, water pump rebuild, etc etc etc.

Prepping for Leatherique treatment, have door panels and seats out, before I go yanking on the rear quarter upholstery/arm rest handle assy, anyone remove these ? Any and all tips appreciated...............

    Godspeed!

    Dave,

I have 30 mins free this weekend, £50 to spare, an adjustable wrench and a can of black paint. Do you think there's ANY chance that my engine could look like yours by Monday morning ?

    Regards,

    Russ

Looking real good Dave! I noticed that you've only got 1 alternator. After some investigating, I found that the 2 alt. set-up didn't occur until the injected cars...I'm wondering why??

Only problem with that stuff Aidan is that the smell tends to hang around in there for some time :(

    Bruce,

You are correct. In my case, I upgraded the stock 75 amp (?) Bosch alt. to a new Bosch Heavy duty 120 amp which also charges at lower rpm, has heavy duty bearings etc etc. Did a small post on this earlier, required design of a factory looking laser cut adjusting bracket. In addition, I have upgraded to new heavy duty Spal cooling fans (2) wired on their own independant system of fuses and weather proof relays, all utilizing marine grade heavy ga. wire. Additional ground wires run everywhere. Will post pics later.

In original post I meant to say that a detailed online photo album, will be up soon.

Hmmm still no tips on removing the interior piece............... Hate to have to do it in place!

    Godspeed!
