    I got mine on the 22nd, but have only put in a few hours on PGR3....my gamer-name is Goldypoker...Ill keep an eye out for you.Mostly my kids play, my son is an animal at Halo 2...soon to be at COD2 and Perfect Dark.

    Also, I found that when in a pregame lobby in PGR3, if I try to check out someone elses gamecard, my game freezes...is it the same for you? I figure this must be a glitch, because all my other games, and this one too in other areas, works fine...

    My other fave game was Crimson skies, unreal fun! Say hello if you see me online!

    Since so many of you seem to have an Xbox 360 and PGR3 can somebody please tell me what steering wheels are supported by the game?

    Forza on XBox has a list of them under options/controller settings. I bet PGR3 has something similar.

    It usually takes a little while for a game console to get any sort of controller peripherals. Since the original xbox controllers are not compatable, and since PGR3 is a launch tittle, it could be a little while yet.
    I didn't notice any options in the game, but something could be in development by MS or some other company,....why not try www.xbox.com , you might be able to find some info on something in the works.....

    How arcade is it ? The PGR2 was very easy . Lapping the ring in an F40 under the rain in less than 7mns was too easy.

    My Xbox 360 has performed flawlessly, with the one exception I noted a few posts back. I have since heard of this same problem being experienced by others...so its probably a game glitch.
    I have also heard of a lot of people having overheat problems and crashing 360's...but knock on wood, mines been aces!

    I doubt youll be doing that in this game, but who knows,...you might be a hell of a lot better at racing games then me. My fave is mario kart, so its completely different.
    That being said, the fastest cars, like the F50GT, Mclaren and the Panoz GT are very twitchy...good luck in the rain at full throttle!

    Amenasce I agree it was a bit too Arcade-like. On live with the Enzo I was keeping up with good driving GT1's if I had an excellent run on the ring.

    goldyF355 how is the sound of the F50GT, true to real life or the supposed reccordings of the actual car?

    I actually found the rain didn't have much of an adverse effect on handling in PGR2. At least, on the Ring.

    That depends....Ive never heard an actual F50 GT to compare it too, LOL. I did hear an Enzo w/tubis at my dealer once, it sounded MUCH better than the games' Enzo...

    From my own experience, the 355 in the game sounds good, but nothing like the actaul 355 I had...maybe it was the tubi? Nothing beats these things in real life, Im afraid...for sound, anyways....

    One more thing about PGR3...the in-car viewpoint is so good, its actually my favorite...highly playable, and ramps up the realism 100% !

    I was actually refering to the players perspective being similar to real life driving, this is the first racing game Ive seen pull it off so that it isnt a hinderance rather than a true option. I will compare the 355 cockpit with the real thing and get back to you....

    Thanks. That is a big issue for me in all the console driving games: They all lack the cockpit (I only drive from the driver's perspective).

    Only F355 Challenge and F1 for PS2 got it right so far.

    As I understand it the game devs tested the F50 GT on the dyno out in Cali a while back to record sounds and such for the game... There were some video clips of it on the dyno, but then they got taken down... The thread is still up in the "Super Ferraris" section, afaik...

    I thought that was done already for PGR2.

    Regardless, no game can truly represent the sound of these cars. Just like your TV set doesn't even come close to what a real F1 sounds. But that doesn't mean the game is lame, it just means there are limitations to what technology can do. Or at least what the hardware can do we're willing to spend on a console. I'm sure somebody can get the ultimate sound note out of a 360XBox as well.

    Not a bad job, actually. The air vents are pretty close, but theyve kept the interiors fairly devoid of any details...the vents were about it. Anybody else notice any similarities compared to the real thing? With any of the cars?

    Sorry to bring back an old thread, no real need to start a new one. What I would like to know is how many garages are available in PGR3? I know about these: Starter, Converted Barn, Desert Digs, and NYC Suburb. Can you please list the rest? Pics would be very helpful!

    * Converted Barn
    * Desert Digs
    * NYC Suburb
    * Tokyo Courtyard
    * Manor House
    * Coastal
    * Lakeside
    * Tokyo Two

    Naturally, you'll open up new challenges and courses throughout Career Mode, so keep winning races and you'll tour tracks from all over the globe. Keep checking back for more PGR 3 coverage including developer interviews, Gotham TV coverage, and community updates.
