    Some choice quotes

"I think it is a magnificently silly car."

"I think the surprise here is the way it drives; I thought the Mondial was some laughable slow pig; this thing goes really well."

"Well, this feels proper sprightly to me; it's a piece of joy; I love it."

"I think it's cool as you know what, and it's got a gated open manual gear change, and it goes."

"It ticks all the boxes for Ferrari heritage too, styled by Pininfarina, built by Scallegetti."

"I think it's rather fun and the perfect antidote to the modern car market, which is mostly tasteless."

"It is a unique layout; I like uniqueness."

Even more impressive are the comments in the video.

9 Positive comments for each negative.

That would have been impossible just say 5 years ago.

I think these little "silly" cars are going to surprise many collectors not far from now; specially the T's. Car is an awesome proposition, but the mistake has always been trying to compare it (even if subconciously) with the periods seater brothers...

The pin he held up was from the replacement toggles that I make and sell. The prior owner must have been a customer. The reason it was popping out was he was missing the E Clips that hold it in place.
If I know his address, I would gladly send him some.

    Great video.

Inspired me to get my car out today.

I just wanted also to point out that Tyler in Hoovie's garage declared the Ferrari 348 (the 'twin') of the Mondial t as his favorite car of all the vehicles on the show.

"I love this car; it's my favorite vehicle to own."

(Noting he owned an F355 as well, just sayin' - Even though burning into the ground, I do think the 348's rawness and perfect steering does endear owners.)

With the newest cars being ever more 'smooth,' 'firm', and 'comfortable', I think something to be said about the 'harshness' once decried now sought out.

Vinyl record thing in an age of digital.

Nice to see car reviewers that drive hundreds of cars give counterbalances to the myths out there.

I truly hope he falls in love with this car as much as we all have given the opportunity to do so during his ownership i.e. this appears to be a long term vs one off “test”. It will be a shame if he’s “bought a lemon” and the subsequent videos focus more on the inevitable and associated costs of buying one.
Aside from the universal admiration of her beauty (Mondial’s look so much better in the flesh versus pictures), the most common surprise as I describe my car to friends and family is the ridiculously low running / maintenance costs.
I hope for an even more positive next video which at last supports us strange folk who understand and adore these cars!
