I am sorry if I missed it, but are there photos of the car overall? I want to check it out, I find this thread extremely interesting - you have a new subscriber.

    What snobs we've become.

Not so long ago this was SOP when it came to maintaining old cars.

Hi Joe, I will post some interior and exterior later in the thread. You guys have great products and I totally would have went with the headers despite their origin, but they weren't an option for the budget repairs I was doing. Keep up the great work with your stuff.

To everyone else: This car was mid 30's out the door, so I could not fathom spending 8k on a major since it would never be perfect. It has no oil leaks and I can honestly say that I was surprized of the condition of the belts after 12 years, no cracks. Tensioners were gritty on the other hand.

I have lots of photo documentation since I have purchased the car, but never posted until now because there were too many snobs around here. Its a breath of fresh air really.

Eric, you're lucky they didn't ream you for doing that great job on the coolant hose repair with the motor still in car, obviously you should have taken the engine out and documented all the cleaning you did. LOL

Ha! I actually posted that thread before thinking about the consequences. By the time I realized what was coming my way, it was too late to delete the thread! Haha.

Amazing you didn't get reamed on that one. Lol. Good write up. Nice to work on these cars yourself at times, at the end of the day a Ferrari is a special car but its built with the same concept as a regular car so it can be repaired in a similar fashion. I don't doubt some materials are special (magnesium rims, engine construction titanium etc), but for example the headers can be fixed and it is permanent. No need to get a $3000 dollar belting each time, but if you are a perfectionist, definitely go fabspeed or OEM.

I like going to shows and seeing cars with 1/4 of the mileage and more bolster wear than mine, and they think their odo wasn't tampered with. lol.. How about "my car traveled 22 miles in 6 years and the carfax is consistent", ummm yeah ok.
