Gents: Recently sold my 97 355 Spyder to a very fortunate person, he loves the car. Major done last summer, Fab-Speed etc. I am now looking for a deal, something that needs work,I have a full shop, hobbyist and working on the cars is almost, not quite, as fun as driving them.

I would highly recommend any of the Factory Five Racing 'kits'. I built one of their 1965 Mark IIIs, which is an identical replica of a 427 S/C Cobra, and it is fantastic. They continually improve the design (which can be a drawback, because like a computer, as soon as you buy this year's model, it's been replaced with something better so you can never catch up). I've seen several for sale in various stages of completion. Some run out of patience, some out of time, and some out of money. I've had die hard Corvette guys ride in my car and be astonished that their new off-the-showroom-floor 'Vette had more rattles and noises. It's also fantastically simple. Power nothing. Emissions controls? I don't think so . . . my garage NEVER has insects, bugs, or critters . . . they die instantly from the noxious fumes when I fire it up. No heater. No air conditioning. No radio. In other words, nothing to break. I've had mine on the road for about 8 years and have spent a total of $146 dollars on unscheduled maintenance (a voltage regulator for the alternator and a turn signal light bulb) and probably less than $350 if you include scheduled maintenance. They recently introduced a supercar called the GTM and I would say it rivals some of the top exotics out there.

Find (not easy) a beat up Dino. Have fun working on it and then sell it for huge bucks.

Get a wrecked 550, put drive-train, front subframe, interior in an old camaro or mustang or something along those lines.

Were doing a few of F powered odd couples, tons of fun to build

Much cooler then it sounds ;)
