    Hey everyone, I have been playing with the idea of putting my name for one of these while the books are filled and then selling off my spot when demand starts to rise and books start getting filled. Do you think it will generate the enought hype to make me a profit?

    Doubtful, really. It's not as groundbreaking as the first. Probably make a little more with an R8 allocation.

    I would stay away especially if you have to pay taxes on the car. While it may sell for a premium at first, it will be short lived and not much.
    R-8s should do very well on the other hand.

    I agree. Nice improvement over the first gen, but hardly revolutionary.

    The new SLK was a similar huge leap over the first version, but you can get them at or below sticker a year later.

    Considering the R8 will be attracting higher end customer it would probably be more profitable for you. The TT just doesnt seem like a Car you will shell out big bucks to get in a spot for.

    TTs are already at the local dealer, there are a few of them outside.

    Wasn't it underpowered and stupid-looking enough the first time? And loved the baseball glove interior....LOL

    in S.Florida you can already buy an '08 TT Coupe for $250 under sticker ( was qouted by a salesman when I went to test drive one yesterday) . Nice car though,drives nice . much better than the last one .

    I doubt you will be able to make much money by doing this, if any.

    I owned a first gen car and I loved it. If Audi could make it handle like a boxster, it would be amazing. I haven't seen a new one yet, but from what I have seen it looks great.
