Having faithfully, and continueing to serve Uncle Sam. I need to treat myself to something very nice. Deployments, and other taskings have made me realize that life is short. I hope to gain wisdom and knowledge as I prepare toons day purchase my first Ferrarri. I see a lot of "Moon Lighting" OR time in my future. It will be worth it. Currently in Texas, but who knows where I will be stationed next year?

Congrats on Your Promotion to MAJ.

I remember my 1st Field Grade Promotion. Major is a unique position. You will learn to love it or hate it. I LOVED it. With the help of a Good NCO, you are high enough up to ACTUALLY make a difference at the unit(Battalion)-level, and low enough down to not get shot in food fights by the LTCs and more importantly COLs/GOs.

There are quite a few folk here that are Active Duty, NG/Reserve, and Retired. Actually, I think we have owners representing all the branches, even the CG.

    Welcome.

    :)
