just curisous how most of you pronouce numerical names for cars.

    360, 355, 575, 250, 330 etc.....

do you use one method, ie THREE SIXTY...... THREE FIFTY FIVE...... FIVE SEVENTY FIVE..... (first number followed by 2nd and 3rd number making 1 number)

or do you mix them up, ie. THREE SIXTY....... THREE FIVE FIVE...... FIVE SEVEN FIVE.....

    Interesting question...

I've never heard anyone pronounce the 308 as "three zero eight" or "three hundred eight". It's always "three, oh, eight". But, in France the literal french translation of the 308 is "three hundred eight". [toi cent huit -- which sounds like "twa saun wheat" to most of us.]

The 328 to me has always been "three twenty-eight" instead of "three, two, eight".

But, I've heard the 246 dino as "two, four, six" and also "two forty-six". I never thought about it before.

I usually say four thirty, three sixty, etc. But for the V12s I tend to say four five six, five seven five, five nine nine, etc.

    430 - Four Thirty
    360 - Three Sixty
    355 - Three fifty five
348 - Worst Ferrari Ever (well, that's what Luca said)
    328 - Three Twenty eight
    308 - three OH eight
    246 - Almost a Ferrari
    206 - Almost a 246

    It goes on and on.

    599 - Five Ninety nine
    575 - Five Seventy five
    550 - I want one
    612 -Six Twelve

And that's how I hear it 99% of the time.

I have never hear Three Zero Eight, Two four six, Three Five Five, or any other such nonsense. But, to each to his own, I guess.
