    I am trying to clean up bits and pieces of my 308. What color is the fibre glass inner rear wheel fenders supposed to be. Flat black, semi gloss....and is there a particular type of paint that adheres best to this type of material. (for a 78 308). As well would this be the same color as the spare wheel fiber glass panel surrounds.

    Auto body supply stores sel SEM's trim black (#39143)that matches OEM chassis & wheel liner matte black finish.
    I've used it for years for restoration work.

    Eastwood also sells a trim black that I've long suspected was SEM's product private labled for them.

    Several light coats @90 degrees stroke directon works best.
    Just refinished my spoiler & used it on the bottom & inside. Couldn't have done better with my spray gun!
