    I used the NGK plugs that have a 5/8 hex, so there are many that will work. You really need a way to hold the spark plug in the socket while you are assembling, and there are basically three ways: Rubber thing inside socket that grips, magnetic thing inside socket or tapered wedges inside socket (Snap-On patent).
    I prefer the magnetic, and Snap-On has S9706KMAG. If they don't have that, you might as well get the extra-deep rubber one which is S9720KA, or my third choice, the short tapered retention one S9706KRA

    I know some 308's need thin walled socket to fit in the hole to reach the plug.

    On all Ferraris, blow out the spark plug recess with compressed air before removing the spark plugs and inadvertently letting a bit of gravel or rust flake drop into the cylinder.
