i have heard many different ideas on the proper way to "store" a fcar.winter/ cold weather long times between drives 1-2 months avg.... like- keep a fan running under it, keep it warm - temp?, open the windows , etc. ive heard that the belts shouldnt get below 40 degrees, if they do they will surely break. ?? even the new belts?
    expert advise needed.....

This has been beaten to death several times.
Search fchat for 'winter storage' 'winterize'. I think there were 2 or 3 threads posted since the 'old fchat' was archived. Unfortunately, the best threads were in the temporarily off-line old fchat.

Also search the web for the same topics with (car, auto) added. Look for major car club sites.

BTW, the belts breaking below 40 F is urban legend. Maybe @ -40 F if you tried to crank the engine while that cold. But just low temp storage, no way.

Hmmm, keeping a fan running is a good idea. It should help keep condensation from occurring.

I'm wondering what kind of fan to use, or if I should use more than one. How big? Maybe just a little guy (or two) should be placed under the car in the back to keep the air moving.

I have carpets under all four tires because I've heard that it's not good for the tires to keep them sitting on concrete for an extended period.

I also have a few containers of "DampRid" inside, under, and around the car to absorb moisture. But why didn't I think of the fan? :)
