I am very happy to finally be a "card carrying" member of this group. I just purchased a 1989 Mondial T Cab with 28k miles. I've got to get the 30k major service done but I knew about it when I negotiated the price. The car looks and drives great. I'll look forward to meeting many of the local Chicago members. I am located in the Naperville area. Ron Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks great! I suggest you talk to Daniel at Ricambi America (sponsor here) and order up the beautiful Hill shift knob and pedal set.
Ron, Nice looking car. I may see you around as I am in the Downers Grove-Naperville area. However, unless I get big snow tires, my 328 is going under cover. J
pretty car. question? is the radio antenna permently in it's "upright" position? i haven't seen this on other mondials. nice car by the way.
Ron, Great looking Mondial. I have always loved the T's. Enjoy it! jjmalez, if i am not mistaken, the antenna can be raised and lowered by the circled toggle on the center console. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks to everyone for your kind words and welcoming comments. I love the red carpets as well. Something different for sure. I think they were an option back then. I'm looking forward to meeting local members and participating in events. I'm sure that I'll be posting and looking for information in the near future. I appreciate all of your help. Michael is right about the antenna. It goes up and down at the touch of the button that he indicated. Ron
