    Hello everyone! I recently purchased this gorgeous 1986 black on black GTB from another F-chatter. The car is in tip top condition and was a joy to drive from Southern California to its new home in Idaho. Not a hiccup in 1000 miles. What a great introduction to an amazing car! I have since had several memorable drives up through our Idaho mountains. Nice, three-hour loops of twisty two lane roads, with no traffic. Just need to be alert for elk, wild turkeys, and rocks on the road. I'm in heaven!

    Ferraris are rare in Idaho and Ferrari mechanics (should I say technicians?) are essentially non-existent. I was drawn to the 328 rather than newer F-cars because of its beauty and serviceability.

    I have paid up as a Silver subscriber in hopes that my naive posts and questions don't generate ire. I will be appreciative of everyone's help in keeping my new baby purring.

    Welcome to F-Chat - great pix in a great area! I was actually JUST IN that area of
    Idaho just yesterday... meandering from Boise back up to our home near Seattle on
    a business-turned-adventure trip with Mrs. Jedi - took lots of side roads around
    the Payette river just for the beauty of it.

    Crazy to have the snow on Cinco de Mayo, eh?

    You did good (drove mine from Las Vegas to Annapolis MD two days after I bought it)!

    THAT"S the way to have a great time and learn/enjoy the car. Heck, looks to me from reading on this site that cars are routinely damaged by the shippers. So why not have fun and NOT damage the car instead of NOT having fun and paying someone to mess it up? :)
