I want to replace my oem 458 Pzero to Michelin PSS

My dealer has accidentally ordered the rear 295/35/20 as N specs. Apparently that size is made for porsche panamera too. The speed rating is rated Y which are both same. However, the load rating for porsche N specs is 105Y vs ferrari K specs 101Y

Any comments? Is it alrite for me to use the porsche N specs 295/35/20 Michelin PSS on my 458? Or should just wait for the ferrari K specs PSS?

    Thank you

The tread width is slightly different, i.e, the N spec tyres have a narrower tread than the SL K1 spec tyre. The sidewall is stiffer on the XL (105Y) tyre, which usually shortens tread life due to less "give" in the tyre. On top of that, a stiffer side wall on a car set up for a "soft" side wall, will in many cases reduce traction as it gets more "springy". The compound is most likely different - most likely a bit harder on the N spec tyre, and the tread design itself might be as well.

To get a balanced setup like the car is set up for, get the correct tyre. If your tyre guy don't want to do that, or says it does not matter - find someone better to handle your tyres in the future. Just sayin'.
