    Hey guys,
I traded in my 2004 360 Modena F1 about two months ago at Manhattan Motorcars. The other day I saw it posted on their site and I thought to myself, wow, that car is the most perfect example of a 360 that I know of. I took extremely good care of it and so did it's PO. It comes with a 3 ring binder with every maintenance doc, every upgrade, everything that you can imagine. The Body, interior and engine compartment are spotless. It has less than 13K miles and recently had it's major service including belts. It has brand new Pirelli tires, lots of life on the clutch, fresh oil, Challenge Grill, factory shields, Hamman wing, new Tubi exhaust (with valves), trickle charger, car and seat covers and a factory sun roof. I put a lot $$ into that car.

Ok, enough gushing. You want the most pristine example of a 360? Now you've found it.

It is always nice to know where these dealers get the cars. No offense, but that wing would totally kill it for me. My personal opinion is that it may be easier for them to sell if they took it off, especially considering its storied history.

Wing is easily removable with four large hex bolts and the holes are easily covered and/or filled. Personally, I like the wing. When I had the car, it was FLY yellow, everywhere. It was too, too much so I swapped the tail light panel with a black challenge grill, put on the wing and had the wheels redone in charcoal with very subtle metallic sparkles. The photos I posted here are not as up to date as those posted on the MMC website.
She runs really well and never had a mechanical problem, ever. As you can tell from the tone of this note, I loved that car!

But, I wanted a new Lamborghini (just don't tell her that).

$105K for a yellow car with a batwing?

    Nah, don't think so.

Doesn't matter how well you treated her, it's a less popular color with a ricer wing on the back and custom wheels.

And don't kid yourself. It's not a $500 fix to remove that wing, and those wheels? Where did the stock wheels in your picture get to? (picture from their website.)

Just my opinion, but at $105K it's gonna sit for a good long time.

I have no idea of 360 prices anymore... what would this car bring in private sale?

When I was reading thru your description (and before seeing any photos) I was cool with everything until you mention the wing. I knew then that you were going to catch hell by some posters. Everyone has their own preferences, but the wing ruins everything for me. Porsche is the only car I like a wing on. :)

Those are the stock wheels. Just painted black. Easy to return to the original finish.

+1. Black wheels although they can easily be painted back still detract from the presentation. I'd change them back personally. I don't like black rims, makes the car look like a professional sports player or rappers car IMHO. I'd get rid of the wing and get those rims changed. Too much personalization makes a car a harder sell.

    105k... right...

(above all my opinion.. not so humble that is)

    I agree.

Those wheels and wing will not sell easily.

Most don't like the wing and priced high. Lots of cars out there and at that price, to close to a 430.

Lose the wing. Take it off, fill the holes, and try again with a lower price. Sorry.

Are we right that the OP is asking $105k? As there is a yellow 430 Coupe here on Fchat in the ads section at $120k.

With the wing and the black wheels? $80K maybe.

Without the wing and wheels? $85K maybe. (that's a push, but it's a dealer, they get ore than a private sale generally, I think.)

Higher mileage cars are selling in the $60's. First year spyder can be had for less than $100K. Who's gonna pay $105K for a coupe with ricer add-ons?

True enough, but just more money the new owner will have to put into the car.

You don't own it, right? It's not there on consignment? The dealer took it in trade?

Maybe the new owner can work the cost of changing the parts into the price. I'm pretty sure it's taken in on trade. If MMC can get 105k, all the more power to em.

Sorry but the wing and black wheels are god awful. Agree 105k is all dreams. Whats the mark up on the car? 20k?

I love your mods! But agree most don't.

It's a shame but, it will sit at that price and the mods, a very long time

My buddy just bought an 03 with 20k for under 80. Just a few very minor issues.

I purchased mine at MMC, good folks to deal with. They dropped the price 9k at my first offer. I'm sure they're looking for 95k and the buyer should negotiate the removal of the wing, holes filled and 430 wheels in trade at that price.

Poor Doug's just tryin to help out the dealer and is gettin' flamed left and right! :)

Its interesting that in the photo that Dave posted (from the dealer) that they choose a camera angle which causes the wing to disappear into the background.

I'll say one thing for the car -- the engine bay really is clean. Look at the aluminum on the throttle bodies -- the color is super even and there is nothing 'collected' in the corners. Looks like someone went over them with q-tips and then some Flitz polish and then q-tips again.

If MMC can get $105K, then I'd like them to take the listing on my house, any car I want to dump in the next five years, and maybe they can figure out a way to get my step-son to move out. :D

The photos I posted are prior to my painting the wheels and replacing the stock exhaust with the Tubi. The stock wheels needed painting and I wanted something that wouldn't show the black brake dust.

Comments about the "look" always attract people's comments and personal preferences. I didn't ask for all the opinions, I only wanted to make potential buyers aware of a very fine car. And if you see it in person you'll know what I mean. As for the clean engine, I wiped it down once when I first got it and it stays clean like that because I never drove it in rainy weather or on dusty roads. You should see the suspension, it looks perfect as well. And the leather still smells new. And no, I never treated the leather, but did I use a sun shade when needed. And, the car was always garaged.

For the record, the car is no longer mine. I'll bet someone could make a really good deal on a really great car.

And now I'm leaving the Ferrari world and going over to the dark side.
    Doug
