Is anyone aware of places where the public can view vintage or even modern Ferrar's and or similar caliber collectors vehicles? I'm interested in collections in America and abroad.

    Thanks

Peterson museum in LA usually has a few Ferraris and other exotica. Simeone museum in Philly has some cool stuff and has days where you can go watch them exercise the cars, a few of them include some very high dollar vintage Ferraris - check their website for dates.

I feel that Vintage races are the best place to View Vintage Ferraris as you can hear and see what they were meant to do... run.

Also check for Ferrari club meets in your area and it seems like plenty of Ferrari guys show up to cars and coffee events around the U.S.

IMO best to see them out in the open where you can hear an exhaust note versus in a static display.

Just out of my (French) mind: Siensheim Museum in Germany has many nice cars. The Loheac museum in France has also a few nice cars, including a 250 SWB. Also in France is the Schlumpf brothers museum near Strasbourg, incredible collection of Bugatti, and a few nice Ferrari too.

I was lucky enough to visit the Matsuda Collection museum in Japan before it's closed. That really was something.

Impressive collection! Now I wish South Africa wasn't on the other side of the globe!
